Organisation
The key to ALR's successful operation lies in the diverse capabilities and functions of its members; their well-adjusted combination according to the problems to be solved offers the client a pool of scientific, engineering management and business-related know-how. ALR operates in the best tradition of Swiss, German and French organisational skills, in observing a professional, strict working discipline whilst maintaining flexibility in execution.
Its simple organisation scheme makes ALR ideally suited for interdisciplinary projects:
The Centres of Competence are used as a pool of capabilities and knowledge to develop and maintain ALR's key know-how. The CoC's leaders are top-specialists of the relevant competence area.
Temporary projects are managed either in a Centre of Competence, or in separate Project Teams (Example Projects) when a multi-disciplinary approach is required. Project work is performed according to the customer requirements also on-site.
Project Managers are nominated by the Board and CoC leaders. The Board has the overall management responsibility of ALR.
